Appleton Electric, an Emerson owned metal casting foundry, is looking for an experienced Certified Welder for their 2nd shift team in South Milwaukee, WI. This role involves various welding techniques, equipment inspection, and assisting with mechanical duties, with a focus on safety and compliance.

Ansvarsområden

  • Conduct all job duties with Safety as a priority and in compliance with Safety Rules
  • Comply with and maintain areas to 5S standards
  • Perform all types of welding, burning, cutting and welding construction
  • Weld components using both TIG and MIG welding
  • Inspect equipment for defects and malfunctions
  • Assist with mechanical job duties
  • Observe all company rules and regulations

Krav

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Welding certification
  • Ability to stand on feet for long periods, strength in arms and legs to maneuver castings and patterns
  • Ability to work in a hot environment
