ABB is looking for a Category Manager in Shanghai to develop and implement procurement strategies, focusing on cost, quality, delivery, and reliability. The role involves acting as the project procurement SCM interface, driving supply chain digitalization and intelligent transformation, and optimizing department processes.

Ansvarsområden

  • Develop, plan, and implement procurement strategy focused on optimizing costs, quality, delivery, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.
  • Ensure execution in accordance with company, procurement, and supply base management instructions and procedures.
  • Recommend frame agreements to management and execute upon approval.
  • Serve as the project procurement SCM interface, managing new project introduction and communication.
  • Develop and implement supply chain digitalization and intelligent transformation strategy, leading digital projects like RFQ/price adjustment.
  • Provide data analysis to aid managerial decision-making and promote new technologies to improve efficiency.
  • Create visual dashboards and reports for supply chain performance.
  • Document, improve, and optimize supply chain department processes, and establish management mechanisms.

Krav

  • Minimum 3-6 years of sourcing experience in project sourcing, digitalization, or mechanical fields.
  • Good knowledge in digitalization cost analysis and project management is preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge in sourcing methods, digital work ability, project management, cost analysis, analytical skills, and legal/contractual knowledge.
  • Excellent communication, cooperation, and influencing skills.
  • Fluent English in both speaking and writing.
  • Ability to handle complexity and work under pressure, with ownership and practical operation ability.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering or Commercial or similar degree.
