Qualcomm Korea is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its camera software team. The role involves developing and optimizing camera drivers, HAL, and post-processing features for Snapdragon chipsets, working across the entire software stack from low-level hardware control to Android HAL. Experience with C++, Python, and embedded systems is required.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design, develop, debug, implement, and verify camera software, algorithms, and features (e.g., Camera Image Signal Processor, 3A, Image Quality, Tuning Tools).
  • Design or architect IQ modules, algorithms, and feature decompositions.
  • Ensure image quality, software conformance tests, and performance and power metrics are met.
  • Collaborate with customers and team members throughout the project life cycle.
  • Write detailed technical documentation and feature descriptions.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years programming (e.g., C, C++, Python).
  • 2+ years of relevant camera software experience.
  • Experience with Database Management Software.
  • Experience with API.
  • Work experience with Git, Perforce, or Source Code Management System.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
  • Computer architecture or embedded systems knowledge.
  • Experience with Android Camera HAL and/or Windows AVS/KMD/MFT Camera implementation.
  • Experience with low-level hardware control.
  • Exposure to 3A (auto exposure, auto focus and auto white balance), image signal processors, camera sensors, motion sensors, video encoders, DSPs, GPU and display.
