Ericsson is seeking a C Embedded Software Designer to join their 5G Physical Layer (L1) development team in Kraków. You will contribute to market-leading 5G RAN solutions by writing high-quality, optimized code, performing unit tests, and participating in early-phase studies. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge 5G and future 6G technologies in an international environment.

Ansvarsområden

  • Develop 5G baseband architecture, functionality, and features, with special focus on signal processing functions in the UL receivers.
  • Write inventive, high quality, clean, optimized and threaded code in a multi-core environment.
  • Maintain and improve the quality of L1 part of the Baseband product.
  • Perform trouble shooting and customer support.
  • Drive continuous improvements of products and processes.
  • Join early phase studies, to transform requirements into L1 implementation.

Krav

  • C programming skills and experience.
  • Knowledge in embedded software development.
  • Knowledge in any of wireless systems (e.g. 2G, 3G, 4G, WiMAX, WiFi).
  • Knowledge how to perform unit test.
  • Experience in software development.
  • English Skills.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • If you are a fan of programing in Arduino or Raspberry Pi, you should apply.
  • Assembler experience is a plus.
  • Experience in Python, C++, Erlang, Matlab is a plus.
  • Multi-core processor programming is a plus.
  • Real time embedded systems knowledge is a plus.
  • Signal processing knowledge is a plus.
  • BSc level (MSc preferred) in a technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge.
