Ansvarsområden
- Develop and manage programs to meet Alstom’s purchasing strategic initiatives for global and regional requirements.
- Manage the complete procurement process, ensuring quality, delivery, and cost expectations are met.
- Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to set and achieve operational goals.
- Prepare and implement supporting work plans.
- Monitor suppliers’ performance and address issues such as warranties and claims.
- Ensure supplier compliance with regulatory and reputational standards.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and secure capacities to grow the business in the region.
- Represent the commodities towards projects and platforms, providing tailored solutions to project needs.
- Support the Commodity Manager and bid sourcing manager during tender phases.
- Foster effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders.
Krav
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain.
- 8–10 years of experience in commodity management or as a buyer in a manufacturing industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including leadership and the ability to influence and convince.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in quote analysis and negotiation.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to take initiative.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of commodities in your area of specialization.
- Experience in bringing innovation and AI-led digitalization to procurement.
- Practiced innovation and AI-led digitalization for enhanced efficiency.
