Amazon is seeking a talented Business Intelligence Engineer II for the RISC GDA team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This role involves analyzing data, building automated reports and dashboards using BI tools, and providing data support to mitigate risk. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, knowledge of BI solutions, and experience with SQL, Python, and data visualization tools.

Ansvarsområden

  • Creating automated reports and dashboards with BI tools like Tableau and Quicksight.
  • Partnering with Program, Legal, and Tech stakeholders to understand challenges and provide analysis.
  • Providing data support for business partners to address escalations and answer questions using PostgreSQL and AWS.
  • Uncovering trends and correlations through data mining and analysis to develop insights.
  • Designing and executing analytical projects using statistical analysis.
  • Building self-service solutions that empower stakeholders to access and analyze data independently.

Krav

  • 3+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
  • 2+ years of experience with Tableau Desktop, Quicksight, or other relevant data visualization software.
  • Bachelor's degree or above in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field, OR 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) Full Time Exempt experience.
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
  • Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab.
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse.
  • Experience using Python scripting to process data for modeling.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Master's degree or above in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, or an equivalent quantitative field.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level (pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.).
  • Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
  • Experience in data mining, ETL, and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
  • Experience developing and presenting recommendations of new metrics allowing better understanding of the business performance.
