Amazon is looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer I for their Risk and Compliance Solutions (RCS) team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This role involves building data systems, developing reports and dashboards, writing SQL queries, and partnering with various engineering teams. The ideal candidate is passionate about data, detail-oriented, and comfortable with ambiguity.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, automated, user-friendly datasets, reports, and dashboards.
  • Write complex SQL queries for ad hoc requests, deep dives, and recurring reporting.
  • Implement and support key datasets for timely access to business information.
  • Gather requirements directly from stakeholders and own automated end-to-end reporting solutions.
  • Partner with analysts, data engineers, and software development engineers to deliver complete data solutions.
  • Simplify and automate reporting, audits, and other data-driven activities.
  • Contribute to AI-driven solutions that automate manual processes and pipelines.

Krav

  • 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience.
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
  • Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared).
  • Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R).

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Master's degree, or Advanced technical degree.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, co-relation analysis.
