I korthet

Amazon's Global Finance Services (GFS) team is hiring a Business Intelligence Engineer to support the AWS finance team. This role requires deep experience in designing, creating, and managing large datasets, as well as excellent business and communication skills to translate requirements into reporting solutions using tools like SQL, Tableau, and Python.

Ansvarsområden

  • Own the production and delivery of analytics reports and dashboards for key business decisions.
  • Deliver standardized performance metrics for global customers and stakeholders.
  • Partner with existing BI leader to execute the defined roadmap of projects.
  • Provide ad-hoc support for SQL report creation, modification, and optimization to AWS finance and business services.
  • Debug report issues, unblock workflows, and communicate status updates to teams and stakeholders.

Krav

  • 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience.
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
  • Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared).
  • Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R).

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Master's degree, or Advanced technical degree.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, co-relation analysis.
