As a Business Intel Engineer, you will enable effective decision-making by retrieving, aggregating, and reporting data from multiple sources. You will own the design and development of metrics and reports, analyze data using SQL, Excel, and visualization tools like Tableau, and communicate insights to stakeholders. This role involves modeling data, automating reporting with languages like Python, and understanding business trends to recommend growth strategies.

Ansvarsområden

  • Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to drive key business decisions.
  • Retrieve and analyze data using SQL, Excel, and other data management systems.
  • Develop reporting and data visualization solutions using tools like Tableau, AWS-QuickSight, and Looker.
  • Model data and metadata to support reporting pipelines and automate manual reporting solutions using programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Understand trends related to business metrics and recommend strategies to stakeholders to help drive business growth.
  • Report key insight trends using statistical rigor, including hypothesis testing and basic regression and forecasting models.

Krav

  • 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience.
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
  • Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI).
  • Experience with statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared).
  • Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R).
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, co-relation analysis.
