Amazon is looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer II to join their International Seller Services Central Analytics team in Hyderabad, India. This role involves building scalable solutions, extensive data models, and complex ETL pipelines, while also performing deep-dive analysis and mentoring teammates.

Ansvarsområden

  • Constructing and maintaining intricate standard data pipelines used by thousands of users globally to measure, derive, and analyze seller performance.
  • Building scalable solutions, including extensive data models and complex ETL pipelines.
  • Raising the bar on data timeliness, discoverability, and availability.
  • Connecting with world leaders in the field working on similar problems.
  • Working with massive-scale data and providing analytic support to product/program managers and engineers.
  • Translating data into meaningful insights using expertise in business analysis, metrics, reporting, and analytic tooling like SQL, Excel, and Python.
  • Owning the insights built for the business and playing an integral role in tactical decision-making for critical risk areas.
  • Building self-service tools and dashboards that provide aggregated metrics and granular data for defect verification, customer communication, and deep-dives.
  • Performing deep-dives and data analysis, and providing recommendations on new metrics or business decisions.
  • Mentoring teammates, providing input in team and org level strategic planning, and leading cross-org discussions.

Krav

  • 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience.
  • 2+ years of Tableau Desktop, Quicksight or other relevant data visualization software experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or above in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) Full Time Exempt experience.
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
  • Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab.
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse.
  • Experience using Python scripting to process data for modeling.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Master's degree or above in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics or equivalent quantitative field.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
  • Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
  • Experience in data mining, ETL, etc., and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
  • Experience developing and presenting recommendations of new metrics allowing better understanding of the performance of the business.
