This Business Controller position in Shanghai requires ensuring timely financial reporting, forecasts, and targets while supporting operations with analysis and tools for performance optimization. The role involves business partnering, performance management, detailed analysis and reporting, managing finance and accounting teams, and overseeing internal controls.

Ansvarsområden

  • Responsible for annual budgeting, quarterly rolling forecast, and business planning for Sales Area China.
  • Preparation and validation of business cases and investment proposals.
  • Support Performance Management process including goal setting, KPI development and implementation.
  • Drive Net Working Capital efficiency and overall business performance by interpreting financial analysis.
  • Support profitability analysis and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Follow up, analysis, interpretation and comments regarding actual results, forecasts and targets to the management team.
  • Consolidation and on time reporting of actual, forecast and target results.
  • Ensure financial polices/accounting guidelines to a high standard and in line with Sandvik Financial and Internal Control policy.
  • Provide tools for a standardized way of working within the Business Control team.
  • Provide support of Group finance IT tools in day to day operations and future developments.
  • Ensure compliance and execution of control procedures in an effective manner.

Krav

  • 8-10 years of experience, with at least 3 years heading Finance and Business Control functions in multinational companies.
  • University degree.
  • Basic understanding of technical aspects of mining and construction business.
  • IT-proficiency in MS Office, Familiar with Power BI, dashboard, QlikView as well as ERP software (Aurora).
  • Influencer/persuasive ability.
  • High level of professionalism, honesty and integrity, team player.
  • Ability to see the big picture yet can focus on the detail.
  • Commercially and legally astute.
  • High level of financial analysis skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills including the ability to negotiate at a senior level.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
  • Excellent listening skills with inclusive mind.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Preferably with trading business background.
  • Preferably with M&A experience.
  • "Hands on" approach to managing the accounting functions.
