We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst II to analyze operational data, define business requirements, and drive continuous improvement in compliance and verification workflows. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, identifying gaps, measuring performance, and supporting automation initiatives.

Ansvarsområden

  • Extract, analyze, and interpret large datasets using SQL, Python, Hadoop/Hive, Redshift, Oracle, or NoSQL databases.
  • Perform diagnostic, root cause, and variance analysis, identifying patterns and generating actionable insights.
  • Design and maintain automated reporting systems and dashboards.
  • Validate data quality, flag upstream issues, and maintain data integrity.
  • Build and implement KPIs with summarized visuals to track metrics globally.
  • Solve ambiguous business problems using analytical approaches and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Tailor communication to audience needs, presenting findings to senior leadership.
  • Facilitate dialogue, negotiate priorities, and establish shared understanding with stakeholders.
  • Scope, drive, and deliver complex projects across multiple teams with minimal supervision.
  • Partner with Product, Tech, Operations, and other stakeholders to deliver optimized solutions.
  • Identify and optimize business processes and data methodologies to improve efficiency.
  • Mentor and develop junior analysts, participate in recruiting, and share knowledge.

Krav

  • 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
  • 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience.
  • 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience.
  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.
  • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders.
  • 3+ years analyzing and interpreting data using SQL, Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, Hadoop/Hive, or similar technologies.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL with ability to handle large datasets.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work with limited guidance.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 3+ years relevant work experience in related fields beyond basic requirements.
  • Technical expertise in Data Science, ML, and Statistics.
  • Experience with data mining, and statistical algorithms.
  • Proven track record driving cross-functional projects to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to distinguish between one-way and two-way doors in decision-making.
