Amazon seeks an analytical leader for a Business Analyst role to scale Amazon MX Player, a free ad-supported streaming service in India. This role involves building and maintaining end-to-end analytics solutions, working with global and local teams, and driving business decisions through data insights and BI tools.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design, implement, and support key datasets for actionable business information.
  • Set up the data lake for a new video streaming business.
  • Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards.
  • Develop expertise across business teams to drive adoption and visibility into key performance measures.
  • Propose and prioritize changes to key metric reporting and create new metrics/processes.
  • Interface with business customers to gather data requirements and drive analytic projects.
  • Perform deep-dives to find root causes behind key parameter variances.
  • Analyze data and drive insights related to operations and compliance.
  • Investigate and implement new big data technologies to automate stakeholder needs.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience.
  • Experience in data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments.
  • Hands-on SQL coding experience.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence systems and data presentation (Tableau, MicroStrategy, PowerBI, QuickSight).

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Working knowledge of Python/Java or similar coding languages.
  • Familiarity with AWS solutions such as Redshift, S3.
  • Ability to independently influence and drive outputs, meet deadlines, and set clear expectations and roadmaps.
  • MBA or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or related field.
  • Experience in projects involving complex data sets and high variability.
  • A history of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive data.
  • Design and develop data infrastructure to support business growth.
