As a Business Analyst in Haverhill, MA, you will ensure accurate financial data recording and provide business insights by interpreting financial language into business terms. This role involves cost simulation, inventory analysis, variance reporting, and supporting audits, reporting to the Business Controller.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform monthly cost simulation (CC7) and annual cost roll activities, investigating and resolving costing errors.
  • Familiarize with PK reduction programs, tracking and evaluating their financial impact.
  • Monitor and assess inventory status, including reconciliation, booking, and analysis of inventory cost.
  • Update E&O provision, blocked stock, goods receive, Last-Time-Buy stock, and STOACT status.
  • Analyze monthly changes in inventory on hand balance, highlighting primary change items and reasons.
  • Drive inventory reduction through analysis insights and participate in inventory meetings and projects.
  • Develop realistic inventory balance (BS) and inventory cost (P&L) forecasts.
  • Conduct standard cost variance analysis and booking.
  • Support annual audit requests from EY, focusing on inventory and costing.

Krav

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Finance or Business Administration.
  • 3+ years of working experience in Finance in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Experience using SAP ERP system is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Cost Accounting, specifically Product costing and variances in manufacturing.
  • Experience in driving inventory reduction through comprehensive analysis.
  • Understanding of P&L and Balance Sheet.
  • Good MS Office skills, especially in Excel and Outlook.
  • Capability of building SQL query, Power BI reports or applying other business intelligence or AI applications is a strong selection criterion.
  • Business acumen and ability to bridge understanding between financial data and business language.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Diligence and ability to deliver results within deadlines.
  • High sense of accountability and can-do attitude.
  • Good team player and communicator.
  • Curiosity to relentlessly pursue root cause analysis and translate it into business language.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Knowledge on US GAAP or IFRS accounting rules is a plus.
  • Experience preferably using SAP ERP system.
