Sempell GmbH, a subsidiary of Emerson, is seeking a BU Process Manager in Korschenbroich, Germany. This role involves organizing and coordinating team activities, managing performance, supporting employee development, and overseeing departmental operations to meet safety, quality, and profitability goals. The ideal candidate will have higher education in industrial or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience, strong communication and analytical skills, and advanced knowledge of production management systems.

Ansvarsområden

  • Organize, plan, and coordinate team activities, setting objectives and monitoring performance.
  • Lead, inform, motivate, and support teams through meetings and individual updates.
  • Conduct individual performance reviews and support employee development plans (training, mentoring).
  • Define skills requirements, draft job descriptions, and participate in recruitment.
  • Participate in disciplinary proceedings and ensure compliance with group values and regulations.
  • Prepare and deploy the annual development plan within the team.
  • Work closely with the continuous improvement Manager and GSC team in Europe.
  • Plan, direct, and control all activities to meet safety, quality, profitability, and deadline requirements.
  • Implement organizational, tool, and process changes for continuous improvement.
  • Link business needs, financial results, and Global Supply Chain to coordinate strategies.
  • Prepare annual budgets, analyze operating results, and provide monthly financial forecasts.
  • Propose investments to support department activities and contribute to cost reduction initiatives.
  • Improve collaboration between departments and ensure appropriate communication with customers.
  • Define and monitor the Korschenbroich supply chain plan.
  • Build strategic relationships with key customers and sales offices.

Krav

  • 5 years' higher education in industrial or mechanical engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience steering working groups and setting up subject-specific teams.
  • Ability to design and produce monitoring and analysis tools (dashboards, graphs, etc.).
  • Technical industrial culture (knowledge of mechanics, production management).
  • Understanding of the different techniques used on-site.
  • Advanced knowledge of production management systems (ERP) and related systems (FLM...).
  • Complete professional competence in German and English.

  • Good product knowledge.
  • Good financial knowledge, particularly in management control.
  • Advanced level office automation skills: analyze data, create presentation media.
  • Financial knowledge/management control to establish strategic plans relevant to the balance sheet.
