Qualcomm is seeking a BSP SW Customer Engineer in Guangdong, China to work with leading device makers on Linux and Android platforms. Responsibilities include understanding customer requirements, analyzing code, co-developing solutions, and debugging system-level issues. The role requires strong programming skills in C, C++, and Java, experience with Linux Kernel 5.x/6.x, and excellent communication abilities.
Ansvarsområden
- Understand customer requirements and designs
- Analyze Linux kernel and Android userspace code
- Co-develop custom solutions on Linux/Android
- Debug and resolve system level functional and issues
- Support customers during system design, board bring-up, continuous integration, stabilization, optimization, product launch, and maintenance release stages.
Krav
- Excellent High level language (C, C++, Java) skills
- Experience in software development on Mobile/Linux/Embedded platforms including compiling, linking, loading, executing and debugging firmware images
- Prior experience on Linux Kernel 5.x/6.x
- Experience in Kernel Architecture and issue debugging
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English
- Strong background in customer engagement, issue tracking and problem resolution
- Bachelor or above with a major of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or relevant.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
- 2+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
- 1+ year of experience with debugging techniques.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Prior experience in Qualcomm MSM products is preferred.
- Experience in USB issue debugging is preferred
- Experience in PCIE issue debugging is preferred
