We are seeking a skilled AWS Platform Support Engineer to manage, monitor, troubleshoot, and support cloud infrastructure hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will ensure platform availability, performance, security, and operational excellence while providing L2/L3 production support for cloud-based applications and services. This role requires 3-8 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Ansvarsområden

  • Monitor and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and platform services.
  • Provide L2/L3 support for production incidents, service requests, and problem management.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, networking, and performance-related issues.
  • Manage and support AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, ELB, IAM, CloudWatch, Route 53, and Auto Scaling.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
  • Manage backup, recovery, patching, and disaster recovery activities.
  • Monitor system health, availability, and performance using CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.
  • Implement security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities.
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, networking, and security teams.
  • Automate operational tasks using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
  • Participate in on-call support and incident management activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve tickets raised by clients.
  • Undertake training programs for new joinees.
  • Perform knowledge transition during project enhancements.
  • Document all defined processes and methods for ticket resolution and troubleshooting.
  • Update self on latest technologies and related areas.

Krav

  • 3 to 8 Years of experience (can be adjusted based on requirement).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting AWS Cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts.
  • Experience with incident management, problem management, and change management processes.
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and support operations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • AWS Services: EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, Route 53, ELB/ALB/NLB, Auto Scaling, SNS/SQS.
  • Operating Systems: Linux (RHEL, Amazon Linux, Ubuntu).
  • Monitoring & Logging: Amazon CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Splunk, ELK Stack.
  • DevOps & Automation: Terraform, CloudFormation, Jenkins, Git/GitHub/GitLab, Ansible.
  • Scripting: Python, Shell Scripting.
  • Database Knowledge: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Amazon RDS.

  • EKS/ECS (preferred).
  • Windows Server (preferred).
  • Dynatrace/AppDynamics (preferred).
  • PowerShell (optional).
  • DynamoDB (preferred).
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (preferred).
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate (preferred).
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (preferred).
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (preferred).
  • Experience with Kubernetes (EKS).
  • Experience with Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus.
  • Exposure to FinOps and AWS Cost Optimization.
  • Knowledge of containerization using Docker.
  • Experience in enterprise support environments with SLA-driven operations.
