Qualcomm is seeking an experienced Automotive Software Test Engineer for their San Diego, CA location to focus on ADAS and Autonomous Driving systems. The role involves testing software functional safety and AI infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on automation and cross-functional collaboration.
Ansvarsområden
- Develop and execute manual and automated test plans and test cases.
- Report bugs and test bug fixes.
- Design and develop test cases.
- Validate software in Linux, QNX, Android, Multimedia, Kernels, and device driver domains.
- Utilize HIL and SIL test methodologies for embedded systems.
- Test Multimedia/CV/AI technologies including Camera, Audio, Video, Graphics, EVA/CV, neural networks, and AI processing.
Krav
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
- PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
- 6+ years of SW development, planning, test case design/development and validation experience in Linux, QNX, Android, Multimedia, Kernels and device driver domains.
- 6+ years of strong automation experience with test case development (C/C++, Python a must).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Automotive domain test experience and some exposure to IVI, ADAS and AD features.
- Experience with HIL (Hardware in Loop) and SIL (Software in Loop) test methodologies used for testing embedded systems.
- Test experience on Multimedia/CV/AI technologies a huge plus – Camera, Audio, Video, Graphic, EVA/CV, neural networks and AI processing.
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR Fundamentals (e.g. BSD, CDD etc.).
