HCLTech is seeking an Automation Test Specialist in Chennai, India, to perform end-to-end functional testing using tools like Selenium and Java. The role involves designing, developing, and executing test cases for various software components, ensuring product quality and reliability.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
  • Validate merchant onboarding journeys, Lloyds Accept application flows, payment processing, settlements, and terminal management capabilities.
  • Execute testing across web, mobile (iOS & Android), API, and backend systems.
  • Prepare detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test execution reports.
  • Perform API testing and integration testing across internal and third-party platforms.
  • Support SIT, UAT, FOV, production releases, and post-release verification activities.
  • Validate business-critical payment processing and settlement workflows.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and operational testing to ensure end-to-end integrity.
  • Identify, log, track, and verify defects through to closure using Jira or equivalent tools.
  • Collaborate with developers and engineers to improve quality and test coverage throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous testing practices.
  • Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and post-release reviews.
  • Ensure adherence to Lloyds Banking Group security, governance, risk, and compliance requirements.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning.
