ABB is seeking an Automation Engineering Intern in Singapore to support the implementation, delivery, and continuous improvement of products and services within the Measurement & Analytics Division. This role offers hands-on experience in automation systems, PLC programming, and instrumentation, complementing academic studies.

Ansvarsområden

  • Support the implementation and delivery of products and services by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to determining effective technical solutions that align with customer requirements and project outcomes.
  • Communicate with business teams to understand existing processes and contribute to continuous process improvement efforts.
  • Seek regular feedback and guidance from manager and team members to enhance technical skills and professional development.

Krav

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical, Automation, or related discipline) or equivalent technical field with strong academic performance.
  • Demonstrated passion for automation, measurement technology, or industrial applications with a solid understanding of fundamental engineering principles and technical concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Practical experience or coursework in automation systems, PLC programming, instrumentation, or related areas.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to think analytically and learn quickly.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Familiarity with engineering software tools is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Mandarin Chinese is beneficial.
