I korthet

Tetra Pak seeks an experienced Automation Engineer with expertise in Siemens or Rockwell systems to implement Automation Projects and Upgrades. This role involves creating, modifying, and commissioning control systems, requiring travel up to 40% in the UK, Ireland, and North Europe. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience in processing area automation.

Ansvarsområden

  • Create, modify, and comprehend control systems for customer processes.
  • Write PLC code and configure HMI systems.
  • Conduct simulations, commissioning, and servicing of systems.
  • Manage network infrastructure and work with PI systems, recipe systems.
  • Provide production support and modify databases.
  • Report to the Project Manager on project tasks, budget control, and progress.
  • Interface with account managers and customers to assess requirements and create quotations.
  • Maintain project documentation and records.
  • Participate in design reviews and safety risk assessments.
  • Produce documentation for Internal Test and customer FAT.
  • Break down and plan projects into phases, ensuring timely milestone completion within budget.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s degree qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience in automation solutions, electrical or electronic engineering, and process control.
  • At least 4 years of experience with processing area automation systems.
  • Experience with Industrial switches, Servers, Visual Basic, SQL databases, Virtual Machines & VMware.
  • Working experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to plan, delegate, and multi-task.
  • High Quality-focus.
  • Strong, positive oral & written communication skills both internally & with customers.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Full driving license.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Siemens and/or Rockwell PLC experience is advantageous.
  • Experience with AVEVA and/or Ignition SCADA systems is advantageous.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Previous experience in the food or dairy industry is an advantage.
