Tetra Pak is seeking an Automation Support Engineer for its La Rioja, Argentina plant. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting automation equipment, executing preventative and corrective maintenance, and collaborating with global teams on process improvements using TPM and WCM methodologies.
Ansvarsområden
- Diagnose and troubleshoot automation equipment failures.
- Perform configurations and backups of firewalls and OT system protections.
- Interact with central/global teams.
- Provide response incidents related to PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, industrial robots, and sensors.
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Verify the proper operation of control and instrumentation devices.
- Update software and firmware on automated equipment.
- Modify operating sequences according to production requirements.
- Prepare reports on failures and interventions.
- Document changes in programs and configurations.
- Implement automation solutions for process and laboratory data collection and processing.
- Support early project management using Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodologies.
- Conduct root cause analysis of recurring issues.
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams focused on developing continuous improvement initiatives (reducing downtime, increasing efficiency, etc.).
Krav
- Degree in Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering, with a focus on automation and information technology.
- Advanced written and spoken English proficiency.
- Knowledge of automation, PLCs, and industrial networks.
- Experience in programming and coding using relevant languages.
- Knowledge of IT, hardware, software, and cybersecurity.
- Experience in automatic control and robotics.

- Previous experience in manufacturing industries and/or operating plants is desirable.
