Tetra Pak is looking for an experienced Automation Engineer in Pune, India, to manage automation design throughout customer order processes. Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and supporting automation software and hardware, and involvement in all project stages from sales support to commissioning.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform automation design in customer orders throughout the order process.
  • Responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of automation soft- and hardware.
  • Involved in all steps of customer projects: sales support, design, programming, simulation test, workshop test, and commissioning support.
  • Work on Automation Upgrade Orders.
  • Work with Tetra Pak common automation platforms, ensuring a uniform structure and support to the Field Service team.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • 7-10 years of working experience with automation design.
  • Proficient using MS Office software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Must be able to work effectively across diverse time zones (IST, CET, EST).

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Expert knowledge of general principles of food processing and packaging.
  • Expert knowledge of main equipment, composition, quality aspects, and hygienic requirements for equipment, facilities, and operators.
  • Good knowledge and experience of engineering practices, including Plants, process lines, applications, and technology for Production Solutions design.
  • Knowledge and understanding of engineering practices for food processing machinery design, including applied food processing technology, hygienic design, general machine design, testing methods, and manufacturing techniques.
  • This position will be based in Chakan, Pune India.
  • Role involves domestic and international travel, averaging up to 30 days annually.
