Tetra Pak is looking for an Automation Engineer in Tokyo, Japan, to lead and manage technical projects independently, including upgrades and CE projects. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring adherence to automation standards, and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle. Significant travel is expected.

Ansvarsområden

  • Coordinate and manage all automation engineering and design activities/changes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure the engineering aligns with Tetra Pak automation standards as well as local industry practices.
  • Lead technical discussions and provide engineering support to customers, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
  • Support the pre-project team with cost estimation, risk assessments, technical coordination, and project planning activities.
  • Organize, facilitate, and lead design reviews, technical reviews, and risk assessment workshops.
  • Provide on-site supervision and technical support during installation, commissioning, and project handover activities.

Krav

  • At least 3-5 years working experience as Automation Engineer
  • Native level Japanese
  • Business level English proficiency

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Ability to work independently to lead and manage technical projects/pre-projects, with responsibility for budget, quality, and schedule.
  • Experience overseeing upgrade projects, as well as L0 - L2 CE projects & L3/L3+ CE projects with guidance.
  • Leadership and coordination for multidisciplinary teams working closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
