ABB is seeking an Automation Engineer in South Korea to support engineering activities for industrial automation projects. The role involves developing and implementing automation solutions, conducting system testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and providing technical support, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering field.

Ansvarsområden

  • Developing and implementing automation solutions based on customer and project requirements.
  • Conducting system testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical support at customer sites.
  • Preparing technical documentation, including system specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
  • Programming and configuring PLC, HMI, motion-control, and industrial communication systems.
  • Providing product training and technical guidance to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with sales and project teams to define suitable technical solutions.

Krav

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in industrial automation or machine automation.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical, electronic, control, automation engineering, or a related field.
  • Business-level Korean and good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Practical experience with PLC and HMI programming and commissioning would be preferred.
  • Knowledge of motion control, servo systems, industrial networks, and communication protocols.
