I korthet

Saab Australia is seeking an Automation Architect in Adelaide to provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for DevSecOps teams working on the Saab 9LV Combat Management System. The role involves shaping the development environment, leading CI/CD initiatives, and driving automation strategies to enhance system delivery and compliance.

Ansvarsområden

  • Lead the technical direction of DevSecOps teams and provide architectural guidance.
  • Act as the Product Owner for the Continuous Delivery Pipeline (CDP).
  • Lead monitoring and planning activities for capacity, performance, and availability.
  • Formulate and communicate technology roadmaps.
  • Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of automation strategies.
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform assurance activities for security compliance.
  • Mentor and coach DevSecOps teams on best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement and foster new ideas.

Krav

  • Tertiary qualifications (bachelor’s degree) in a relevant discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) Information Security Manual (ISM).
  • Scripting skills using languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Broad understanding of technology and technology trends.
  • Demonstrated experience in Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery concepts.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing CI/CD solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and deploying containerised applications.
  • Demonstrated experience in application and infrastructure monitoring and incident response.
  • Demonstrated experience with configuration tools such as Ansible.
  • Demonstrated experience with monitoring and analysis tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
  • Experience with Linux, open-source applications and tools management.
  • Must be an Australian citizen and hold or be able to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience with Agile principles, practices and processes.
  • Experience with Analysing and implementing ASD ISM controls.
  • Experience with configuration rollout and management of the Atlassian Datacenter suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Fisheye and Crucible).
