Autoliv is seeking an Automation and PLC Technician in Ogden, UT to ensure the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of automated manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve manufacturing performance.

Ansvarsområden

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated production equipment, responding quickly to machine failures and critical production issues to minimize downtime.
Complete assigned preventive maintenance (PM) and work orders (WO), ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying root causes of equipment and process issues and implementing permanent corrective actions.
Perform TPM activities and repair mechanical, electrical, robotic, and automation system components while following technical support procedures.
Drive improvements in manufacturing performance by reducing downtime, scrap, and cycle time while supporting safety, quality, rate, and yield objectives.

Krav

High School Diploma required.
0-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing automation, robotics, or production equipment support.
Experience with PLC and robotics programming, troubleshooting automated equipment, and supporting manufacturing systems.
Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
Proficient English communication skills.
Willingness to work on the production floor, including occasional extended hours during launches or critical manufacturing events.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Technical training or certifications in Automation, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field preferred.
