Autoliv is seeking an Automation and PLC Advanced Engineer to develop PLC and HMI code for sewing and modules areas. The role involves reviewing control systems, programming automation systems, ensuring machinery safety, and providing technical support. A Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics or related engineering field and 2+ years of experience are required.
Ansvarsområden
- Review and validate machine control systems and electrical designs, ensuring PLC programming, electrical schematics, and control architectures comply with Autoliv standards and project requirements.
- Develop, program, and optimize machine automation systems, including online and offline programming, automatic sequences, manual movements, and machine functionality validation.
- Ensure machinery safety, reliability, and recoverability, validating interlocks, collision prevention mechanisms, and fault recovery processes.
- Support equipment development, testing, and validation activities, including creation of verification routines, calibration programs, and participation in validations.
- Provide technical support throughout the machine lifecycle, including design reviews, component selection, software updates, issue resolution, and closing validation actions.
Krav
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming and HMI development, including Studio 5000, RSLogix 500, FactoryTalk View Studio, and TIA Portal.
- Knowledge of industrial automation technologies, including CIP Motion, Ethernet/IP, Profinet networks, torque controllers, machine vision systems, and barcode readers.
- Experience with industrial robotics, particularly FANUC robots (Intermediate-Advanced) and ABB robots (Basic-Intermediate).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in automation and controls engineering, with expertise in machine validation, commissioning, Buy-Off/MB processes, troubleshooting, and supporting automated manufacturing equipment.
