I korthet

ABB is seeking an Associate Project Manager in Cape Town to support project planning, coordination, and execution within the Electrification Service division. Responsibilities include project administration, tracking progress, stakeholder communication, and reporting, requiring a diploma/degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience.

Ansvarsområden

  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budget management.
  • Track project progress and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare project reports, status updates, and presentations.
  • Identify and escalate project risks and issues to senior management.
  • Support stakeholder communication and meeting coordination.
  • Contribute to process improvements and best practices implementation.

Krav

  • National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business, Engineering, or related field or similar.
  • 1-3 years of project management or project coordination experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with MS Project.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • PMP or CAPM certification advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Agile or Waterfall methodologies advantageous.
  • Experience in engineering, construction, or manufacturing sectors.
