ZS is seeking an Associate Platform Services - Data Engineer to develop scalable analytics-ready and Agentic AI-ready data products on the ZAIDYN platform. Responsibilities include designing and implementing data pipelines, applying business rules, defining KPIs, and delivering trusted data for analytics and intelligent automation. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of relevant development experience, with strong foundations in ETL, data warehousing, and SQL/Python.

Ansvarsområden

  • Develop complex solutions using programming languages, ETL platforms, and cloud technologies.
  • Own delivery across project phases: design, build, test, deploy.
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs, data models, and implementation plans.
  • Build and configure ZAIDYN pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and transformation.
  • Implement ETL workflows using platform and cloud-native capabilities.
  • Apply business rules for data quality, consistency, and alignment.
  • Define and compute KPIs for dashboards, reporting, and advanced analytics.
  • Deliver analytics-ready and Agentic AI-ready data products.
  • Partner with leads and global teams for end-to-end delivery.
  • Follow best practices: agile delivery, version control, code reviews, testing, documentation.
  • Support project leads with planning, staffing, risk management, and status reporting.
  • Collaborate with global teams (data engineers, platform engineers, BI developers, analysts).
  • Mentor junior team members and coordinate work across roles.
  • Plan and track tasks for on-time, high-quality delivery.
  • Contribute to key deliverables: requirements, solution design, prototypes, test cases, deployment plans.
  • Manage internal and client communication for assigned workstreams.
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and learning.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
  • 1–2 years of relevant development experience on medium to large-scale technology solution delivery engagements.
  • Strong experience in ETL development, including building and maintaining data pipelines.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data transformation, validation, and performance tuning.
  • Hands-on experience with Python scripting for data processing, automation, and transformation.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (conceptual, logical, and physical models).
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts (dimensional modeling, fact/dimension tables, performance optimization).
  • Experience designing and delivering data products for analytics and reporting.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and big-data/ETL tools (Hadoop, Spark/PySpark, Informatica, Talend, SSIS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand business context.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate in global teams and explain ideas clearly.
  • Fluency in English.
