Autoliv India is seeking an Assistant Manager for Domestic Supply Planning. This role leads domestic supply planning, supplier partnerships, inventory, and logistics to ensure uninterrupted material availability for manufacturing. The ideal candidate has 8-10 years of experience in supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment.

Ansvarsområden

  • Release monthly production schedules to suppliers.
  • Prepare and analyze 15-month forecasts and communicate requirements to suppliers.
  • Manage weekly and monthly firm schedules and forecast releases.
  • Monitor supplier performance, capacity, and supply commitments.
  • Ensure continuous material availability for production.
  • Review and manage daily shortages.
  • Manage direct material procurement from domestic suppliers.
  • Control inventory levels in line with targets.
  • Update MRP data and ensure implementation of latest purchase orders and part numbers.
  • Monitor planned vs. actual supplier deliveries and drive corrective actions.
  • Ensure timely closure of Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).
  • Arrange and ensure availability of IMCs and chemicals.
  • Manage freight budgets, accruals, service bill submissions, and freight optimization.
  • Coordinate Goods-in-Transit (GIT) declarations.
  • Support implementation and sustainability of key logistics systems (AS051, AS244, AS246, AS247, Web EDI).
  • Participate in supplier audits.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, training programs, and cross-functional projects.
  • Participate in quarterly and annual physical inventory exercises.
  • Prepare and maintain procurement MIS reports (OTP Updates, Material Downtime, Freight Performance, Supply Chain KPIs).
  • Maintain 5S standards.
  • Act as SCM representative for plant-level initiatives.
  • Support VEVA and packaging cost optimization projects.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, logistics, and procurement teams.

Krav

  • B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline.
  • 8-10 years of experience in Supply Planning, Procurement, Inventory Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain Operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of QAD, Oracle ERP, SAP, MRP Systems, Forecasting & Planning Tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-driven and confident professional.
  • Excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong execution and planning capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
