Emerson is seeking a front-line Supervisor for their Valve Assembly Department in Mansfield, MA. The role involves managing day-to-day operations to maximize production, improve safety, reduce costs, enhance quality, and meet customer requirements. The ideal candidate is a confident leader with strong team management and problem-solving skills.

Ansvarsområden

  • Promote and establish a safe and productive work environment.
  • Develop daily work schedules and assign employees.
  • Ensure all documentation is clear and legible.
  • Maintain and evaluate employee training and qualifications.
  • Develop best practices and document knowledge.
  • Oversee areas including Nuclear VA, Navy VA, Large VA, sand blast, paint, and steam testing.
  • Follow and abide by the Union agreement contract.
  • Assist in equipment and staffing decisions.
  • Periodically evaluate group and individual performance.
  • Support cross training for all team members.
  • Lead problem-solving activities related to Valve assembly and supporting departments.

Krav

  • High School Diploma
  • Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to support and maintain a culture of teamwork and collaboration while holding employees accountable
  • MS Office skills
  • Legal Authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing technologies and/or assembly process
  • Experience with valves is a plus
  • Ability to create and maintain strong working relationships throughout all levels of management
  • Experience with Oracle
