Synopsys is seeking an Executive Director to lead a dynamic R&D verification team focused on developing digital PCI Express controllers within the Intellectual Property Group in Bengaluru. This role requires an inspiring leader with expertise in PCI Express and ARM-based SOC architectures, responsible for the PCIe/CXL verification strategy and functional quality.
Ansvarsområden
- Lead and manage R&D verification engineers focused on verifying digital IP controllers, namely PCIe/CXL.
- Ensure team capacity and structure meet market demand, aligning execution plans with stakeholders.
- Adapt methodologies to improve controller quality and team productivity.
- Manage project scope, schedule, costs, and risks, aligning with management on resource needs.
- Lead verification R&D activities for customer pre-sales and post-sales support.
Krav
- Verification expert in UVM methodologies, testbench environment creation, and constrained random verification.
- Expert in leading large verification teams.
- Experience creating structures with clear lines of responsibility and accountability.
- Deep knowledge of PCIe technologies and related protocols.
- Proven track record of leading and managing teams focused on IP product development.
- Ability to learn from team mistakes and implement new or enforce existing processes.
- Excellent communication, organizational, risk assessment/mitigation, and time management skills.
