HCLTech is looking for an AS400 Technical Lead in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, with strong expertise in AS400 Synon (CA 2E) for application development and maintenance. The role involves coding, testing, collaborating with stakeholders, and participating in Agile processes.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using Synon (CA 2E) on AS400.
  • Perform coding, debugging, and unit testing of RPG, SQL and CL programs.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Optimize and modernize legacy applications.
  • Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
  • Provide support for existing applications, utilizing tracking and incident management tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.

Krav

  • Strong proficiency in Synon (CA 2E), RPG/400, RPGLE, SQL, CL/400.
  • Experience with DB2/400 and query tools like WRKQRY.
  • Familiarity with PNC Insurance Domain.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • AS400 Certified Systems Administrator (ASCSA) or AS400 Certified Application Developer (ASCAD) preferred.
