Amazon Tech Supply Chain seeks an Operations Manager for Rapid Asset Deployment (RAD) in Thane, Maharashtra. This role involves managing IT teams, driving continuous improvement in operations, and ensuring productivity goals are met to deliver customer promises. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and significant experience in supply chain operations and team leadership.

Ansvarsområden

  • Manage and drive staffing plans, schedules, quality initiatives, and process change initiatives.
  • Manage a team of IT Process Assistants and Associates in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Set and clarify requirements and expectations for Business Unit Managers, Logistics, and Team Leaders.
  • Partner with Managers to establish corrective plans to ensure departments meet business objectives.
  • Source and nurture creative improvement plans for the RAD Center.
  • Ensure best practices are shared across all departments and shifts.
  • Oversee the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the department.
  • Collaborate with support staff (HR, Finance, RME, WHS, etc.) to build and secure resources for projects.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Manage and promote the maintenance of the working environment and drive WHS standards.
  • Ensure SLP/security procedures are followed at all times.
  • Maintain a complete management overview and thorough understanding of RAD inventory.
  • Achieve stock accuracy targets.
  • Implement changes and develop new processes to improve direct shipping capabilities.
  • Improve quality, eliminate errors, and reduce cost per unit.
  • Manage and report day-to-day metrics.

Krav

  • 1+ years of supply chain operations experience
  • 5+ years of developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations experience
  • 2+ years of leading technology teams as an information technology operations manager experience
  • Bachelor's degree

  • 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
