Amazon is looking for an Area Manager in Hyderabad, Telangana, to drive sortation and line haul infrastructure. The role involves defining transportation processes, managing delivery performance, conducting performance appraisals, and implementing process improvement mechanisms.

Ansvarsområden

  • Drive sortation & line haul infrastructure in the region, including identifying new routes.
  • Define the transportation process from FC to delivery stations.
  • Ensure sufficient bandwidth in the sortation team for peak time delivery management.
  • Conduct performance appraisals of station supervisors and mentor them.
  • Continuously improve throughput and attain sustained delivery performance improvement.
  • Analyze data reports to identify and address performance bottlenecks.
  • Implement formal process control and process improvement mechanisms like Kaizen.

Krav

  • 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience in the logistics field is desirable.
  • Experience in the courier industry is highly preferred.
  • People management experience.
  • Experience handling field teams is highly desirable.
  • Experience handling live operations preferred (where decisions need to be taken on the spot).
  • Experience in process improvement preferred.
  • Knowledge of specific methodologies such as Six Sigma, Kaizen is a plus.
