I korthet

Area Managers are responsible for budgetary, people development, and operations objectives within an Amazon Fresh Fulfillment Center. Key responsibilities include managing and developing a team of Team Leads, driving performance, and ensuring safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity goals are met.

Ansvarsområden

  • Manage and lead a team of Team Leads, coaching and mentoring them to meet performance objectives.
  • Drive creation of staffing plans, schedules, quality initiatives, and process change initiatives.
  • Measure performance, provide feedback, and hold Team Leads accountable.
  • Ensure best practices are shared across all departments, shifts, and the network.
  • Collaborate with support staff (HR, Finance, Facilities, IT) to secure resources for initiatives.
  • Address operational and personnel issues affecting the functional area.
  • Surface issues with potential to affect multiple functional areas to senior management.
  • Review work forecasts to determine productivity requirements and meet building objectives.
  • Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor for an efficient shift.
  • Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance.
  • Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.

Krav

  • 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
  • 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
