As a Staff Engineer for Applications Engineering, you will provide technical support and training for Simpleware software, converting 3D medical images into models for various applications. You will engage with customers, contribute to product development, and support consultancy projects involving AI/ML segmentation.

- Provide technical support to customers using Simpleware software
- Deliver software demos, training sessions, webinars, and workshops
- Visit customers and represent the team at conferences and events
- Contribute to product requirements, documentation, and technical content
- Support consultancy projects involving AI/ML segmentation and automation
- Build and maintain customer relationships as a trusted technical advisor
Krav
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, medical imaging, or related field
- 3+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Applications Engineer, technical support, field applications)
- US citizen and authorized to work in the United States
- Experience with medical image processing software (Simpleware, Mimics, 3D Slicer, or similar)
- Working knowledge of FEA/CFD software (Ansys preferred)
- Python or scripting experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Ability to guide customers through complex segmentation workflows and deliver live demos to different audiences
- Ability to troubleshoot by asking the right questions and write documentation people can follow
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple customer cases and travel without losing track
- CAD/3D modeling
- ISO 13485 familiarity
- 3D printing knowledge
- Clinical or medical device experience
