This Applications Engineering Internship in Ho Chi Minh City offers a full-time, on-site experience for students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science. You will provide technical support for EDA Design & Sign-off tools, collaborate with global teams, and gain hands-on experience with industry-leading ASIC implementation tools.

Ansvarsområden

Provide technical support for EDA Design & Sign-off tools including PrimeTime, PrimeClosure, Tweaker, STARRC, Nanotime, and Primelib.
Address customer issues and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Take ownership of tool migrations, evaluations, and validation across different release versions.
Support tool-related issues and debugging design challenges for taped-out designs.
Collaborate with worldwide Application Engineers, R&D teams, and customers.
Understand requirements, address escalations, and ensure successful adoption of solutions and tool development.
Support customer issues related to Fusion Compiler, ICC2, Design Compiler, and Formality.
Build strong customer relationships by actively following up on issues and feedback.
Develop communication and problem-solving skills in a real-world engineering environment.

Krav

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Basic understanding of ASIC Physical Design/Implementation methodologies or Application Engineering experience supporting implementation flows.
Knowledge of Physical Design flow, including floorplanning, placement, CTS (Clock Tree Synthesis), routing, timing closure, and STA (Static Timing Analysis).
Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and scripting languages such as Tcl, Python, Perl, or Shell.
Good communication skills in English; able to work cross-functionally and cross-regionally with diverse teams.
Passion for exploring new tools and features, including AI-related tools and emerging technologies.
Ability to manage relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders effectively.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Exposure to Synopsys tools such as Fusion Compiler, ICC2, Design Compiler, Formality, and related signoff tools is a plus.
