As an Applications Engineering Engineer in Ho Chi Minh City, you will provide technical support for Synopsys Design Implementation and Verification tools, troubleshoot physical design issues, and collaborate with R&D teams. This early-career role offers hands-on expertise in ASIC physical design from floorplanning through tapeout, requiring a strong foundation in digital design and scripting skills.

Ansvarsområden

Provide hands-on technical support for customers using Synopsys Design Implementation and Verification tools.
Troubleshoot issues in physical design flows like floorplanning, placement, CTS, routing, and timing closure.
Take ownership of customer technical cases from initial investigation through resolution.
Debug tool behavior, analyze design data, and work with customers to deploy solutions.
Collaborate with R&D engineering teams across regions to escalate complex issues and communicate customer requirements.
Validate fixes or new features before deployment.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by proactively following up on open issues.
Understand customer design challenges and ensure they get the most out of Synopsys tools.
Work with Synopsys Fusion Compiler, ICC2, and related signoff tools to help customers optimize their implementation methodologies.
Create and refine technical documentation, application notes, and best practices.

Krav

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Understanding of ASIC physical design and implementation methodologies, including floorplanning, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, and static timing analysis.
Working knowledge of Verilog and digital design fundamentals.
Comfort with Linux or Unix environments.
Scripting in Tcl, Python, Perl, or Shell.
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers and internal teams.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Exposure to Synopsys Fusion Compiler, ICC2, or related signoff tools is a strong plus.
Application Engineering experience supporting implementation flows or customer-facing technical roles is a plus.
