Emerson is seeking an Applications and Systems Engineer in Pune, Maharashtra, for a hybrid role. Responsibilities include understanding customer requirements, providing pre-sales technical support, and ensuring accurate offer submissions. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Chemical Engineering.

Ansvarsområden

Work closely with internal and external customers to understand requirements and propose resolutions for application-based projects.
Ensure timely submission of quality offers in coordination with BDM’s, sales teams, Legal, PMO, and factory PSQ’s.
Provide pre-sales and technical support to customers, business partners, and distributors.
Attend pre and post-order technical meetings with sales, PMO, Product Management, and BDM's.
Ensure CRM data is updated regularly.
Review project requirements accurately and seek clarifications before submitting offers.
Ensure on-time offer submission with Delegation of Authority (DOA) process compliance.

Krav

Bachelor in Mechanical / Instrumentation/ Chemical Engineering - BE/ B-Tech Graduate
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Ability to establish priorities and multitask.
Demonstrated teamwork or ability to work in a team environment.
Detailed and assertive character, capable of managing complex situations under pressure.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Knowledge in Isolation valve products, Actuators and instrument components is an added advantage.
Knowledge of testing - destructive and non-destructive testing is an added advantage.
Knowledge of Metallurgy, Material science, Fluid Mechanics is an added advantage.
