Atlas Copco is seeking an Application & Project Engineer to manage engineered and turnkey projects for their Oil-Free Air team in Malaysia. This role involves preparing applications, managing project execution, coordinating with sales, procurement, and product companies, and ensuring successful contract fulfillment across multiple countries.

Ansvarsområden

  • Prepare and support application engineering activities for engineered and turnkey projects.
  • Manage and ensure successful execution of contracts across Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Sri Lanka, and Mongolia.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to review customer enquiries and evaluate project scope.
  • Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to vendors.
  • Work closely with Product Companies to ensure project requirements are understood and proposals are submitted on time.
  • Participate in technical bid clarification meetings and address technical queries.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project costing summaries and commercial evaluations.
  • Ensure timely order processing and coordinate with factories for Part Numbers (PNs).
  • Manage project execution to meet delivery schedules, technical specifications, and contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate with Project Engineers for project documentation.
  • Provide engineering support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead and support the design and engineering execution of turnkey project installations.
  • Review, evaluate, and process project variations, change orders, and claims.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules.
  • Manage assigned projects within approved budgets and drive profitability.
  • Support Kick-Off Meetings (KOMs), HAZOP reviews, and design review sessions.
  • Provide regular project status updates to management.
  • Monitor and track project stage payments, invoicing, and payment collections.
  • Track project progress against agreed schedules and milestones, identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Foster effective communication among customers, suppliers, factories, Product Companies, and internal stakeholders.

Krav

  • Proven experience in the application engineering and project management of compressed air systems and equipment within the oil & gas, power generation, petrochemical, and other large industrial sectors.
  • Strong technical knowledge of compressed air technologies, system design, project planning, and execution.
  • Preferably 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in application engineering, project engineering, or project management roles involving engineered packages and turnkey projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, contractual requirements, quality standards, budgets, and delivery schedules.
  • Experience in coordinating with customers, suppliers, factories, and cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Familiarity with Atlas Copco equipment and ancillary systems will be a distinct advantage.
