Google is seeking an Application Engineering Intern for Winter 2027 in Bengaluru, India. Ansvarsområden

  • Develop, deploy, and support Google's internal business applications.
  • Solve various problems, including implementing, configuring, customizing, and integrating vendor-sourced enterprise software.
  • Create custom-built software solutions.
  • Build internal solutions with custom front-ends (e.g., web, mobile) and back-end services that automate business processes.
  • Maintain high levels of development practices including technical design, solution development, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution, writing clean, modular and self-sustaining code.
  • Help partners by delivering innovative and scalable solutions, and troubleshooting their problems.
  • Understand operational workflows, identify and define tool needs to enable operational scaling, and drive the development and deployment of these tools with Engineering.
  • Work closely with analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Integrate third-party products into internal systems as well as support and upgrade implemented systems.
  • Partner with internal teams to define and implement solutions that improve internal business processes.

Krav

  • Must reside in India for the full duration of the internship.
  • Anticipated graduation date in 2027.
  • Full-time availability for a 26 weeks internship starting Jan 2027 onwards.
  • English proficiency is a requirement.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Experience in one or more general purpose programming languages.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to actively participate in technical discussions.
  • Updated CV or resume.
  • Current unofficial or official transcript in English.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience programming in Java, Python or C++.
  • Experience in systems software or algorithms.
  • Experience in SQL, Spring, API development, Web Services (RESTful, SOAP), JavaScript or Typescript.
  • Available to work full time for a minimum of 6 months outside of university term time.
