Qualcomm is seeking a Principal Application Engineer in Toronto, Ontario, to join their post-silicon validation team. This role involves qualifying Qualcomm IPs, supporting customer SoC designs, and debugging integration issues. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in post-silicon validation with hands-on experience with test equipment and automation languages.

Ansvarsområden

  • Work with the IP team to qualify Qualcomm IPs through post-silicon validation.
  • Be involved in the post-silicon validation of in-house test chips.
  • Drive technical communication to customers from kick-off to silicon bring-up.
  • Diagnose, debug, and resolve customer issues during integration, simulation, implementation, and silicon bring-up.
  • Support customers designing their SoC with Qualcomm IPs.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Krav

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering.
  • Minimum 5+ Years of experience in Post silicon validation.
  • Hands-on experience with bench test equipment like Oscilloscopes, Logic analyzers, and Vector Network analyzers (VNA).
  • Experience in Functional Testing and ATE debug.
  • Experience working in IP Validation in one of the interfaces like USB, PCIe, Serdes, and UCIe.
  • Experience working on automation languages such as Python/Perl/TCL.
