Ansvarsområden
- Provide support to multiple projects, customer, and development related for seatbelt product line.
- Develop and validate seatbelt products.
- Lead, execute and support various project activities during technical phases of awarded programs.
- Collaborate with CFT team members, interface with OEMs, internal supporting groups, manufacturing facilities, and suppliers.
- Design and validate seatbelt products and components to ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory standards, and Autoliv engineering specifications.
- Collaborate directly with customers to balance styling expectations with Autoliv’s standard design practices, manufacturing capabilities, and cost objectives.
- Coordinate with global engineering teams to support the localization, validation, and successful launch of global programs.
- Analyze customer specifications and translate technical requirements into robust product designs, ensuring all validation activities are completed according to program timelines.
- Drive product development activities to achieve Right First Time (1P1P) objectives by optimizing design quality, manufacturability, performance, and customer satisfaction.
Krav
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced English proficiency with strong verbal and written communication skills; willingness to support regional teams across Mexico and the United States.
- Experience in seatbelt/restraint systems, product design, product engineering, interior Class A components, and trim development within the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in CAD design, GD&T application, tolerance stack-up analysis, and interpretation of CAE results to support product development and validation activities.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including die casting, RIM, injection molding, stamping, and assembly operations.
- Hands-on problem-solving.
