In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- System Design and Development: Understand and analyze the requirements of AP Sales and Operations’ process, design and implement solutions to ensure smooth data connectivity with the existing business system, such us ERP, improve production efficiency, data visualization and reduce variability.
- Application Development & Integration: Design, code, test, and debug software applications using programming languages and technologies, ensuring applications are efficient, reliable, and user-friendly. And integrate applications with the manufacturing system or other business systems to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
- Implementation: support the installation and commissioning of automation systems, ensuring they are integrated seamlessly into existing manufacturing processes.
- Security: Implement best practices for application security to protect sensitive data and prevent vulnerabilities
- Testing: Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of applications before deployment.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for allocation systems. Rapidly diagnose and resolve any issues that arise.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Asia Pacific cross-functional teams, including Sales and Demand Planning, Factory, Invoicing entities, Supply Planning, and Supply Chain to ensure that automation solutions meet operational requirements.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize application performance to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, design documents, operating procedure, software development processes, code standards, and application deployment procedures
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest industry trends and technologies, and continuously seek opportunities to improve development processes and application performance. Keep continuous Learning to stay updated with the latest advancements in automation and programming technology and recommend new tools and practices to improve manufacturing operations.
- Sales and Operations Planning Support: To support AP S&OP supply planning, including various reports, Trade Sales Review and S&OP meeting material preparation, coordinate and schedule the meeting
For This Role, You Will Need:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing automation, business system, including not limit to ERP and MES, or a related area.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in application development, software engineering, or a similar role.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, Bootstrap, SSRS and eCharts.
Experience with web development technologies like ASP.net core, HTML, CSS, and frameworks.
Familiar with database management systems (MS SQL server is preferred).
Familiar with APIs and web services (REST, SOAP).
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Read technical documentation.
Write clear code comments in English
Understand error messages in development tools.
Communicate the requirements with the end users in English.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure.
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies and concepts.
- Familiarity with data analytics and machine learning as applied to manufacturing.
