Emerson is seeking a Credit Analyst in Mandaluyong, Philippines, to join their dynamic finance team. Responsibilities include assessing creditworthiness, managing credit risk, and collaborating with collections. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management, or Finance, with at least 2 years of experience in credit risk assessment and financial statement analysis.

Ansvarsområden

  • Handle a portfolio of customers, reviewing and approving the release of orders on hold.
  • Utilize credit management tools for daily credit decisioning.
  • Exercise independent judgment to address internal customer requests.
  • Perform regular reviews and investigations of high credit risk customers to mitigate AR exposure.
  • Complete month-end reconciliation between Accounts Receivable subledger and General Ledger for Thailand Operating Units.
  • Collaborate with the collections group regarding past-due balances affecting shipments.
  • Complete credit reference requests and perform Financial Status Reviews.
  • Understand and stay updated on business, economic, and industry risks, and financial news and trends.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management, Finance, or related courses.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in credit risk assessment.
  • Experience in reading and analyzing customer financial statements.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially in Excel.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Good written and oral English communication skills.
