Quincy Compressor is seeking an Air Compressor Technical Support Specialist to provide expertise on rotary and reciprocating products to technicians, distributors, and end-users. This role involves assisting customers, maintaining documentation, performing audits, troubleshooting equipment, and potentially training others, with travel up to 40%.

Ansvarsområden

  • Provide assistance and expertise concerning Quincy rotary and reciprocating products.
  • Support Field Service Technicians, distributor network, and end users in maintenance, service, and training.
  • Assist customers to obtain technical information for optimal performance of their Quincy Compressor.
  • Update personal knowledge of new products, modifications, and warranty policies.
  • Assist in maintaining current product documentation for the Technical Service Department.
  • Provide daily reports of field problems reported by phone and email.
  • Provide training to Service Technicians and distributors on product service and repair.
  • Administer the remote monitoring platform (ICONS).
  • Accompany service technicians to customer sites to perform air audits.
  • Compile data and construct reports in a timely manner.
  • Handle Industrial Air Piping design and modifications.
  • Perform Quality Air Auditing.
  • Perform Compressor Power Consumption Audits.
  • Troubleshoot networking and connectivity of compressed air equipment.

Krav

  • High School Degree required.
  • Mechanical or Civil Engineering Degree (preferred).
  • 2 years’ experience in a relevant role (preferred).
  • Knowledge of compressed air products and services.
  • Technical expertise.
  • Excellent phone skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • CAD experience (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to move about the facility and occasionally at customer sites.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 40% maybe required).
