Autoliv is seeking an Advanced Engineer for Project Launch in Pune to lead cross-functional teams in launching new product programs, primarily for airbags. The role involves managing project timelines, ensuring customer requirements are met, and driving continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Ansvarsområden

  • Develop, maintain, and track project timelines, milestones, and launch readiness plans.
  • Ensure all project deliverables are completed in line with customer and organizational requirements.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Logistics, and Finance teams.
  • Participate in customer meetings and technical reviews.
  • Support product design reviews to ensure manufacturability and process feasibility.
  • Lead trial builds, pilot runs, and pre-production activities.
  • Support APQP activities including PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, and Work Instructions.
  • Ensure successful completion of PPAP submissions and customer approvals.
  • Support cost reduction and productivity improvement initiatives.
  • Capture lessons learned from launches and implement best practices.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automotive / Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in automotive program management, project management, or related engineering roles.
  • Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with cross-functional coordination in a global automotive environment.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience with safety-critical products (e.g., airbags) is an advantage.
