Autoliv is seeking an Advanced Engineer - Maintenance PLC Programmer in Pune to ensure high machine uptime and drive smart manufacturing initiatives. This role involves troubleshooting and maintaining PLC systems, leading shop-floor digitalization, and supporting Industry 4.0 projects. A Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering is required, with a willingness to work in shifts.

Ansvarsområden

  • Troubleshoot and maintain PLC-based systems (Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi).
  • Modify PLC logic, ladder programs, and HMI/SCADA systems.
  • Handle field instrumentation, sensors, and system integration.
  • Maintain PLC backups and technical documentation.
  • Attend and resolve electrical and automation breakdowns.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive improvements in MTBF and MTTR.
  • Support TPM activities and preventive maintenance.
  • Lead shop-floor digitalization (paperless systems, e-logbooks, digital work instructions).
  • Integrate machines, PLCs, and IoT systems for real-time data capture.
  • Support Industry 4.0 and smart factory initiatives.
  • Develop dashboards and KPI tracking (OEE, productivity, quality).
  • Analyze breakdowns and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare reports on downtime, performance, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure accurate data logging and traceability.
  • Support audits (internal and external).
  • Coordinate with suppliers for calibration and spares management.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and cybersecurity standards.

Krav

  • Strong experience in PLC programming and automation systems.
  • Hands-on exposure to machine maintenance and breakdown analysis.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance and TPM practices.
  • Ability to analyze data and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and ownership mindset.
  • Leadership qualities with ability to guide shop-floor teams.
  • Good computer skills (MS Office, MSCIT-level proficiency).
